My name is Adam Royds and I’m originally from Burlington, MA. I graduated from the University of Pittsburgh in 2001 with a B.A. in Criminal Justice.

I have over 20 years of Federal Public Service. I started my federal career after enlisting in the United States Army in 2002 as a Military Police Officer. I have worked for the Department of Defense (DOD), Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), and I currently work for the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) as an Analyst and Project Manager. I received my Master’s Degree in Public Administration (MPA) from American Public University in 2010.

I have experience in policy development, process improvement, change management, and systems thinking. I help decision makers review and formulate plans to achieve strategic goals of the organization.

I am passionate about public service. I enjoy working for American citizens and using my skills to reduce costs and improve efficiencies on behalf of taxpayers. Public Service is a calling for me and I hope to reach 40 years of service before I retire.

I feel lucky and blessed to have my wonderful wife Melinda who supports my volunteer work. I enjoy reading and playing with my twin daughters Laurel and Lily. I also have an adorable Shitzu/Bichon mix named Gizmo who keeps me busy feeding him treats and demanding my attention.

I enjoy reading science fiction, playing tabletop Role Playing Games, dancing, gardening, camping and spending time with neighbors and friends.
